One of the first settlement sites in Nova Scotia, Arisaig Provincial Park was established to protect the unique geology of this region, located 1/2 hour west of Antigonish. Unique fossils can be found in the cliffs of the park. Facilities include hiking trails, interpretive displays, a picnic area and pit toilets.

Cape George Day Park
This picturesque park overlooks St. George's Bay and is only half a kilometer from the Cape George Point Lighthouse. The park features washrooms, a picnic area and a short, scenic walking path.
