The remarkable Massed Bands at the Antigonish Highland Games
Jul 18 to 20 The Antigonish Highland Games are the oldest of their kind outside of Scotland, dating back to 1863. The Games feature a variety of highland competitions, including highland dancing, ancient Scottish heavy events, and piping and drumming. Visitors can also enjoy tug-of-war competitions and live entertainment including the Ceilidhs under the tent. Guests might even like to participate as a competitor in the 5km road race (no kilt required).
